Xplornet is a scam

We decided to lock ourselves into a contract with Xplornet because they were the only game in town. Three frustrating years later (and hundreds of dollars spent on Starbucks' 'Hotspot') I wish I had stuck with dial-up. We spend $96 a month to be at the mercy of weather ANYWHERE IN SOUTHERN ONTARIO, and when we call customer service--which, incidentally, is not easy to find as they are not listed in the phone book OR toll-free directory--you are berated and asked to 'power cycle' your brains out (a fancy way of saying 'unplug'). Now the installers (another problem company) has informed us that the Tria (sp?) is faulty and xplornet has been aware since day one, but as we didn't catch is sooner...too bad.....cough up $500 for the crappy service you (don't) receive OR sign up for another 2 years and we'll actually attempt to help you.

Anyone else experienced problems with this company?
